Thanks to all for the warm welcome!
Up here in Transvaal, autumn is supposed to start in March, but it is still hot. Our cooler weather only starts in May .... and then we have only about 2 months of winter before Spring sets in. Our winter temps are around 8-15 degrees celcius. I have never seen snow. Pity.
The Cape Province have it nice - they get to enjoy cold winters for longer periods.
Someday soon I'll get to move down there ....
