I started quilting in 1997 and prefer the traditional quilts. I am teaching my grandson how to quilt. Everytime I would visit and I was working on a quilt he would want to sew. I would thread a needle and give him scraps to sew. In July he was visiting for 3 weeks and I decided it was time to let him use the sewing maching. He was 7 1/2 at the time. We made 2 quilts together.
First quilt made by Taylor with grandma's help This one Taylor did all the sewing, quilting and putting on the binding by machine. |
