I'm Sally from Jackson, Michigan. I've just started with some simple projects of hand applique. It's been fun, but I'm definitely "sewing challenged". Looking forward to some lesson from a very talented lady at work. My interest was sparked last year when my dad received a quilt at the Hospice Home where he passed away. I would really like to be able to make some simple quilts for the Home. I'm 51, single and proud mama to Shiloh, my rescue dog.

Welcome, I'm sorry about the loss of you dad but glad that you're taking an interest in quilting. We all have to start somewhere and as you do more quilts, then you'll see the improvements you make. If you have problems or questions about anything, just post it to the board and I'm sure that you'll get lots of help, and please remember there's no such thing as a stupid question.
