I have been lurking for a while. I am a beginning quilter. finished my first quilt and sent it off to my niece's daughter last month. And have the fever now. with all the ideas I get from the site I want to stay home from work and sew. I live near Lake Somerville and work in College Station.

do you have a quilt shop near you that you use? We just have one in College Station. Would love to know of any others close by.

granny there are 2 in Giddings The one I like Best is All Around The Block Its run by a mother and daughter. The other one is Gerlings. All around the block is on Leon street I will have to look up gerlings her is a CR. We also have a quilt shop in Bastrop Its only been open 19 months. Let me know if you decide to come visit any of the shop and i can meet you there. Bobbie
