Another welcome from Texas.
|
Welcome -- I'm also a Texan, just north of Houston in The Woodlands area -- this is a great board -- I spend a lot of time reading and learning and admiring -- now to finish my projects (decorated tote bags filled with odds and ends for Christmas, painting the inside of my house, yardwork with all those oak leaves and pine needles, and the list goes on), but I seem to have trouble sticking to any one thing for very long -- result of many years of teaching LD kids, I seem to caught attention deficit....Wlcome again

Hello, I am from Joaquin, TX. Its approximately 55 miles east of Nacogdoches, TX and about 4 miles from the Sabine River which is the Texas/Louisiana border. I love the unpredictable weather and beautiful varying landscapes that surrounds us. As others have stated I also love the food. Recently I have started hand quilting and love it. On this site I have found answers to questions that have certainly helped me as a beginner and also answers to things that I might encounter later on as I become more avid hand quilter. Thanks to all of you for sharing your information.

I love reading the replies -- I am going to get out my road map book and see where everyone is from as geography is not my strong point
