Awwww, that was awful nice! ;) Well, I'll tell you what, to be perfectly honest I probably don't have time to quilt. But I ADORE it. So while my potty isn't always sparkling and your feet might stick to my kitchen floor...you'll always have a quilt to lay under at my house! Lol*

I kept on quilting after the birth of my second, though it was a lot of hand work because babies have you running. I did a lot of knitting during that time too because it was so portable. I'm actually in the process of organizing my little sewing space and I'd like to get a few projects cut and ready for stitching so I'll have some things to work on in the hospital. We are having a planned c-section so I anticipate a few days of boredom LOL*

Oh I'm jealous! It's zero degrees outside here, how are you faring in Florida!?! LOL*** What I wouldn't give to lay out in the sun for just a few hours right now...

Glad to see so many NE Ohio quilters. Recently moved here from Central NY and am interested in fabric or quilt shops in the area.
Your work is beautiful. Thanks for sharing and enjoy the board.

I know right where Niles is...we lived there when my oldest daughter was just 2! There used to be a little sew/vac shop in a plaza nearby where we lived...and a sub shop that I really miss!!!

This is a sad day for our county. Two police officers were shot in south St. Pete. We are letting too many criminals back on the street. It is normally a beautiful place to live but a sad one today.
Again, welcome

Hey Akron, Lived in Norton in '75 and worked at the old VIP yarn store in Fairlawn before moving to St. Louis. Still have many friends in the area. Where do you get your quilt fabs.? Love this site. nunny JO

I sure love this site too ;) Akron is about two hours south of me, but my Brother in Law lives there!

There are lots more quilt shops down south and to the west, but I just love Cottonpicker's Quilt Shop who has just recently moved to Chardon. Also a big fan of A Quilting Affair in Geneva. :)

Well, I'm not a native and don't know that much about Akron or the surrounding area. I buy all my fabric either at JoAnn's or Hobby Lobby. I want to try A Piece In Time, but transportation is always an issue. If I can't get out to get it, I buy online.
