hello everyone I am brand new at this quilting thing and have so many questions for everyone . I really don't know where to begin! I have taught myself with the internet so far but triangles are really difficult, and I would like to know how to do applique if any one knows how? Looking forward to all the info everyone has for I know that all info is good!

i am a new one too i was use to doin just tie quilts . but this site is wonderful the people give wonderful advice so just relax and have fun. as for the triangles i still have trouble but i just keep trying but as these people and they will direct on the right path

You only need to ask questions, and we all will give you a wealth of info-everyone has their ways of doing things that work for them-and there are some great tutorials on this board to help-someone will point specific ones out if there is one pertaining to questions you have. I also learned by just reading quilting magazines. I lived overseas and didn't have anyone to help me or any quilt shops.
