Hi all! I’m new to quilting (about 8 months) and working on my second quilt. The first one was a lap quilt kit that I did by hand, which got me hooked : )

Now I’ve bought my first sewing machine and am excited by all the great information and beautiful pictures on this board. Looking forward to seeing what everyone is working on!

Welcome to the board! I'm in your neck of the woods quite a bit. LOVE DC!! Our son and dil live in Alexandria. We have a list a mile long of things to do and have still only put a dent in it! They love living there.
