Welcome from NC!

Hello Cathy and welcome from northern California!
|
welcome from Illinois. My first quilt was a queen-sized log cabin. Everyone else was doing a lap quilt, but I said if I never did another quilt, I at least wanted one that I could use on my bed. I wound up quilting it on my old 401 Singer and it's still on my bed today. I call it my pucker quilt - it's full of puckers, but I still like it. Anyway, that wasn't my last quilt by any means! Glad you found this place - it's a great community here.

Welcome on the road, on the way to Michigan from Houston on Sat. UGH! SNOW. If I wanted snow I'd live there. At least it's for 2 to 2-1/2 weeks only.
I too started out extremely ambitious, but unlike you, mine was totally appliqued and embroidered and hand quilted. Still have quilting to do on last row and then bind it. When we get our new "gently used and remodeled" motorhome in 3 weeks, I finally be able to get set up again. Hope you enjoy the board and get all the info you need. Don't hesitate to ask questions. We all have lots of opinonsl God Bless, Cherie |
Welcome from Wausau. I am also very new to quilting. I have learned so much from this sight. I look forward every morning to checking it out.

Nice to hear from you and I know where Plover is, and people who live there too.
Be sure to ask questions and add comments, I have been sewing all my life and could be your grandmother but I still learn from others. We will be watching for more news from you. Glad you joined the club. Carol J. |
Welcome from North Carolina, I too, am a self taught quilter. God bless you, keep on quilting.
