I have always wanted to come there. Had a friend during high School - a million years ago - that moved there and we wote for awhile and that just made me want to go even more.

hey just had a daughter who lived there 8 months and just moved back here last month- she is going to have a baby - created there LOL - but will be a Texan! She has some beauitful pictures !!

Thanks quit mom - I think I may not be posting right - that's what I get for being on here when i should be in the kitchen - but no one else will know - I came to live with one of sons to help with my granddaughter and I haven't gotten fabric here yet - :( I am having withdrawals...I NEED MY FABRIC ..

Welcome from Sherwood, Oregon. I too have read and enjoyed for along time and finally got on-board! It's a wonderful group! I've learned a lot and have met a few who live close. I feel I know a few too that I haven't met in person! It's a great group. Welcome!

I am getting off here - need to go cook - having family over tonight - guys are watching the Longhorn game- I am cooking - they will NOT care what they eat - but I need to do the thanksgiving feast - daughter- in-law bought stovetop stuffing ??? I am like what the heck ??? oh well...cheers ..oh wait that is for New Years...I have got to teach this girl a thing or 2.... the ironing board is still up from where I ironed my sons jeans..now to find something to cut into patches...lets see granddaughter has out grown these jeans...the next granddaughter will never know these cute little pants were still wearable...oh grannie is bad..I need more patches for the quilt I started...happy thanksgiving too all ya'll and happy quilting..think I will make my pie crust look like a quilt...hey I told them I need to go get my tubs of fabric...here's wake up call
