I am sorry that I had not checked all the posts after I first posted on here...thank you all for the welcomes to this board. It is a great place to see what everyone is doing. I enjoy it so much. I always knew quilters are among the nicest people and this just proves that I was right about that! Hi I am in Michigan to and just joined the group, it seems like a wonderful site. I am origanlly from S.A Texas.

Welcome, from another transplant from Michican to Texas. I came from the U.P. of Michigan.
The hardest part for me is learning to drive like Texans - they do NOT use blinkers when they want to change lanes!!!I have found that IF you use a blinker - the cars in the other lane speeds up so you can't get into the lane!!! I think the car companies could save money by not installing them for Texas cars!!!! LOL

Welcome to Texas. You will find this site as addictive as quilting or buying material.

You just have to learn that old man Jones turns there everyday & he don't know what blinkers are anyway. I know we are a rare breed. I do OK in smaller places but I refuse to drive in Houston or Dallas. Austin is kinda bad but not like the other two.
