Howdee From Beautiful Kentucky!!
Ive been lurking for awhile on the old board and the new. I have to say that there are so many tallented poeple here and soooo willing to help out with tips and hints. Do you know how hard that is to find now a days?? You all are so special. Maybe some of your talent will rub off on me. :-)
My name is Betty aka Jimsgimlet. I Have two children one with CP, still at home. He is such a joy and takes up 99% of my time. I also have a wonderful husband who has put up with fabric hoarding, stray/loose threads hanging off his dress slacks and housework that gets way behind for the past 31 years. I am mostly owned by two four year old Shih Tzus that believe that they are children. I am so glad that I found this board and hope taht you all will let me hang out with ya. Big hugs to all |

Hi from another newbie! I used to live in the beautiful Bluegrass region of Kentucky. In fact, that is where I picked up the quilting bug. I now live in Oregon which has a different kind of beauty and lots of people interested in quilting. Taino Jan

Are you ever in the right place. We are from just everywhere. We are all really addicted to quilting and we know there is no cure. We share pretty much everything. My Sister is Down Syndrome and 50 this past July. She lives with my Mother who is 81 also this past July. She, my Sister, colors and we quilt. My DH and I are owned by 4 schnauzers. I have a room to sew in and sometimes it feels like there is only a path to the sewing machine. Send me a PM and lets visit.
