Howdy, everyone. I'm Ron from central PA (though I lived in TX for some years and kept the howdy). Just joined this forum and have already found it to be well worth my time.

I'm a college professor and don't have much time for making all the quilts in my head, so I'm naturally drawn toward making minis or wall quilts--40x40 is do-able but 12x14 is even better.

My avatar pic is a mini I pieced last year from antique fabrics; it's a Bow Tie variation that I came up with by combining Bow Tie blocks with Four Patch blocks.

Looking forward to spending more time here.

I live in Lewisburg, about an hour north of Harrisburg PA. There's a great fabric shop, Verna's, about 20 miles west of us in Mifflinburg.
