I'm a new quilting addict and have already discovered that there are way too many quilts and entirely too little time!

I've been reading the board for about a week now and decided I wanted to join in. I probably won't be a regular poster (I never am) but I love reading the board!

Hi Becky, welcome from East Texas.

mocha827 03-11-2009 01:38 PM

Since you said "Howdy" I'm wondering if you are an A & M aggie? I'm in Texas, too, from Longhorn country (Austin). Welcome and this is usually a pretty fun group.

Margie 03-11-2009 02:51 PM

WELCOME....

I know what you mean by addiction....I have come to quilting rather late and unless I live to be about 200, could never do all the things I would like.

Thanks for the welcome everyone!

Mocha 827,
I graduated from Sam Houston but I bleed maroon! I couldn't deal with the drive to A&M and parking since I was working full time while going to college as well as trying to finish raising my family. Oldest DD graduated from A&M and oldest DS will be attending next year after getting out of the Navy.

Welcome for North Carolina! What part of Texas are you from?

mocha827 03-11-2009 07:04 PM

My children are now grown and on their own. One of my four is an Aggie and is a chemical engineer in Houston so I get the maroon addiction. The other three and me and my husband are UT grads. Hook 'em!
