NEW IBERIA!!! That's where I was born! I'm a Boudreaux, born there and raised in St. Martinville! Actually lived there til I was 12 and we moved to TX. But 90% of my relatives are still in New Iberia. Smail world!

When someone mentioned it to me, I had to find out all about this. Here is what I came up with:

Go to HOME
MEMBER SWAPS AND ROUND/ROW ROBINS
MONTHLY QUILTING BEE BLOCK SWAP VERSION II (now click on the first post and at the end of it you can click for the activity list. There are some great themes. I hope to see you there (but maybe not until the first of the year!!) Too much to do before then!!

Welcome from Central Arkansas. I'm new also. I'm still finding my way around but this board is a wonderful resource. I have only been quilting since 2007 so I'm looking forward to learning from all of you.

Welcome to the group. You are right, this is a great group. I am presently in Gastonia, NC. My niece moved to New Orleans area and I made this quilt for her family. They move around a lot and I thought the three children might like some symbols of their new town. We have visited my SIL there too.

Thank you for the welcome and what a great gift for your niece! I almost didn't catch the pictures (of the family) in the window! Too cute!
