Hi and welcome from Missouri. That is a cutie you have there. There is someone right up around the corner from me that raises alpacas. I have always wanted to stop and get a close up view of them but don't know how they would respond. Also don't know how their 4 great piernese (sp) would react either. Glad to have you join us. Patti

My husband & I are on the show committee for MIAS a large Alpaca show coming up March 25-27 in Kansas City, MO at the American Royal. There will be hundreds of Alpacas. If you have never been to a show or seen them up close...it is a must see. Kids love them!!! Alpaca owners are very friendly and love to share their Alpaca children with anyone interested in hearing about them:) Hope you can get away to see the show.

Hi and welcome from a newbie from Missouri. Ohhhh my poor hubby almost drove off and left us after my daughter and I petting an Alpaca named Betty. Betty took a shine to my young daughter and it was like they were soul mates. We begged and pleaded to no avail to get one but was strong and wouldn't give in. LOL I think they are four footed angles put her on earth to warm the coldest of hearts. You know they're anlgles when they can get a person to feel this way after only being loved on my one, Betty. You are bless and I feel better just having looked at the pic of your friend. "Ohhhhhh hubby!!! They're going to have an Alpaca show in Kansas City and we‘d love to goooooo." LOL
See you around the boards, Sashing-Sarah709 |
