I have been sewing since Jr. High (yes, I am old!)
I started machine embroidering about 10 years ago and I absolutely love it. I call it "my therapy".

I joined a quilting group in Overgaard, AZ called the "Pine Needlers".
What a great group of ladies. My greatest hope is that I can learn everything I can from them. I have downloaded a lot of quilting patterns and have ideas in "my mind", so I just need to jump in head first.

Any extra hints or tips you can give me are greatly appreciated

Hi Lori, welcome from Oregon, there are a lot of great people on this board, I am new to quilting to. teaching myself to quilt however I have been adopted by two quilt moms to help me out. and yes I am gone to be 47 in aug, but a lot of the experienced quilter took us new to quilting under there wings. to help us and teach us.
