I am providing the newlyweds with a photo quilt (of their engagement photos). I am traveling cross-country to the wedding so it must travel with me. I would like to present it in a very elegant fashion ("fashion forward" as opposed to having it look artsy-craftsy to the young couple) with a small note inside indicating the care instructions along with well wishes. Any ideas?

Once you get there, could you maybe find a large wicker basket of some type and arrange the corners to look like a flower coming out of it with green tissue paper around the edges?

Thank You! Great idea...you're near the Quilting capital of the World (Paducah). Please keep them coming...

Welcome from South Carolina. I like the idea of using the wicker basket. You could also place a copy of the wedding invitation.

the last 2 weddings that I gave a quilt were for my Best friend's sons...
I bought 3 yards of tulle...cut it in half and layed it across the other piece...put the folded quilt on the center and gather up the ends...I used a nice wired ribbon to tie a bow and added a silk rose into the bow... |
Thank you to everyone for great ideas!

I have made a tote bag to match the quilt then stuffed it with pretty tissue paper sticking out the top and tied the handles together with ribbons and flowers. That way they actually get a quilt and a tote bag. You can use shimmery tissue and ribbons or whatever you want to dress up the outside of the tote for the wedding.

I presented a queen sized quilt in a Canvas Beach Bag from L.L. Bean with my cousin's new initials embroidered on the beach bag. I thought that was kinda cool and functional.

If you're going for something cost effective the tulle idea is great or netting if you want to use one of the wedding colors or a color in the quilt. Otherwise threesome great functional gift containers suggested. Welcome from Florida!
