Hi from North Dakota. I come from a similar back ground as you do. I owned a drapery and upholstery shop. Did a lot of big sewing. Am glad now to just sewing quilts. Welcome.

Welcome to our group. I live in Utah and have been sewing since I was very young. Quilting and doll making are my favorite things to do. You will find many friends here. If you would like to, I would be happy to swap doll quilts with you in April. The doll quilt swap is a very popular swap and these little quilts are fun to make and collect. Another great swap is the one block/month swap. For this one we are paired with another quilter. We each have chosen a theme or group of colors we want to collect. We make a 12.5" square that will fit into our partner's design. At the end of a year, we have at least 12 beautiful blocks to make a wonderful quilt. If you want to swap this month, I will partner with you too. Enjoy getting to know this wonderful group of quilters, they are the best people in the world. Gwyn
