I'm new - hello!
 

Hi! I'm Magpie Quilts, and my name is Caroline. I started quilting 35 years ago when my firstborn was a baby and I was BORED out of my skull. I watched Georgia Bonesteel teaching lap quilting on TV and was hooked! I have made about 50 wall hangings and "nap" quilts (up to 60" square), and a few bed-sized quilts. Currently I'm working on a queen-sized for the RV we will be buying when my husband retires in July. Also I want to finish up all the tops I've made and haven't quilted. I'm learning free-motion quilting so doing a lot of experimenting. I love quilting!

Hi Caroline, I am from Co and want to welcome you., I just finished a king size quilt Lovers Knot and I think my quilts are going to shrink from now on. LOL

Welcome from South Central WI where it was a balmy 11 degrees today, and we spotted our first robin today! I too have been quilting for a long time and actually started out as a hand quilter, learning from Georgia and Eleanor back in the day!
