I found this site a few days ago and have enjoyed looking at pictures of your quilts and reading some of your posts. I've even seen a few screen names that I recognize from a different forum.

I have been sewing since I was in junior high school, but didn't really try my hand at quilting until about six or eight years ago. When my children were little, I made tied baby blankets with one big piece of novelty fabric for the front and flannel on the back. A few years ago, when the ladies at church worked on a charity quilt project, I made my first pieced quilt. Since then I've made quite a few tops (mostly lap size), but most of them are still just tops.

My current project is a sampler quilt for my son. I like scrappy quilts, and making a sampler gives me a chance to try new blocks.
