Hello...I'm brand new to quilting and have made 3 quilts only sewing layer cake squares together. I'd love to make another quilt pattern. Anyone have a very very simple tutorial they could suggest and share with me?

Hi Cindy! Welcome from TX! Type in Allpeoplequilt.com in your browser, they have many free patterns and great video tutorials on easy projects and things like how to miter and bind your quilts..Quilters Cache is another awesome site to get block patterns from for FREE! I have both in my Favorites and use them all the time, not to mention of course, this great place, it is warm and friendly, people here are VERY helpful and it is a great inspiration to come to!

Look at http://www.quilterscache.com/

Their blocks are classified by size and difficulty. Pick something you like and give it a try.

Greetings and welcome to the board! The 10 minute block is an easy one, too. I don't have a site, but if you search here (see top of page) there are many sites for it. It's pretty and quick.

Here is the you-tube tutorial.

Hi Cindy, Welcome, from Louisiana. I like the simple and scrappy quilts found on Bonnie Hunter's Quiltville website, esp. Scrappy Bargello. She has great illustrated instructions and free!

Waving from Indiana! Another search for you would be quick quilts. Quick really means simple pattern. We all like those that go together quickly and look good. Would love to see what you've made so far!
