Welcome from South Louisiana. I peeked at your profile and learned that we have a couple of things in common (besides our love for quilting). I also have three children (two daughters and one son), 7 grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. Aren't they wonderful?!!

I really love my 2 great grand sons but I wish I saw more of them. They live in S. Fla and I don't get to see them near as much as I would like. They keep me busy knitting, crocheting and quilting and I love it. I have another great due in May.

Oh, I'm so sorry. i still get to 'baby-sit' one of the grandkids and both of the great grands. That almost-three-yr-old gives me a run for my money. So much energy and so many questions. He loves to be outdoors (and I'm an indoor person). But as long as he's riding his little tractor or pulling the wagon, he's fine. The other two (7 and 8) like the computer games, etc. So all I need to do is furnish them with treats now and then.

GailG: I use to live in S Fla and I helped raise 4 of my gc since 2 of my daughters were divorced. My oldest daughter worked so, I babysat her 2 boys most of the time. I really enjoyed them. Two of the boys loved Legos and I bought 2 huge sets to keep them busy. One grandson loved to be outdoors and play ball or ride a bike. I'm like you; I would rather be inside. I taught 2 of my grandsons to use my sewing machine & my 2 gd's learned to sew when they were young. I'm am missing all of that now and I try to see them 5 or 6 times a year.

That must be so hard. I am so spoiled. DD#1 and the two great grands were here this afternoon.
