You have done a great job on those quilts. You for sure have an eye for color. The squares lined up well too.
yeah some times I do put something from one quilt into another - there are always scraps. Your grandma probably made mistakes too - the stitch ripper is your friend believe it or not. It is a tool and so is your iron - just as much as your sewing machine or a needle and a thread. I think once I realized that I was much better at sewing.
