Introduce myself
 

Hello All Pittsburgh, Pa Fellow Quilters!
I'm new here on the quilting board; and wanted to introduce myself; I"m, PEGGY FROM PITTSBURGH. Does anyone recommend any place to learn how to sew and use a sewing machine correctly? I'm determined to learn how to quilt, and need to learn how to, use machine, cut material, and measure correctly. If you can direct me to where I can do this, I would appreciate that much. I live close to Monroeville Pa.

Welcome from Missouri. Do you have a quilt shop near you that holds beginner classes for quilters? Often these beginner classes start with the fundamentals of using a sewing machine. If not, maybe there is a church group that sews together near you.
