hi...I am from So.Cal. I am 76 yrs.old, but feel better than I did at 45. My dear husband had a stroke when he was 80, 2 yrs. ago and since then I've made only two quilts...just can't seem to find the time as I am his sole caregiver. I have one almost done for one of my "BONUS" daughters (step-daughter) and of course several planned and enough fabric for probably 25. I LOVE FABRIC!!! I also make greeting cards and belong to an internet stamping club. I also love books and love to read. My daughter and family live in Kansas City, MO and my son and family live in Des Moines, IA. I was born and raised in Waterloo, IA until Jan 1, 1995 when I met my present husband on AOL...he enticed me to leave Iowa and move to So. Calif. and here I am...14 happy years later. I really hope to enjoy this web site and bought and dowloaded Rhonda's book last night. Looks like fun!!!

Welcome from SE Iowa Sarah! My daughter's name is Sara. I appreciate that you bought my book! I hope you enjoy it! Good to know you have family in Iowa! We are kind of half way between Kansas City and Des Moines. Probably a little closer to Des Moines than K.C.
Maybe if we Iowans get together you could join us sometime. |

Howdy from WV. We are all fabriholics and we do not do a step 12 program. We don't want cured.  Being a caregiver is hugely rewarding and very demanding. Even if you are unable to do much if any quilting, we are happy to have you on board. |
