Hi All,
I was delighted to come accross this site. There seems to be an abundance of experienced quilters here. I am a new long arm quilter and I have bought a machine to bring home to Ireland with me in April. I have been trying to set up a good fabric supplier while I am here but it is proving difficult. I know to set up a wholesale account you need a FEN number but I'm not sure what I need to give to get set up wholesale from Ireland. Do any international quilters have any advice for me? I am trying to learn as much about quilting while I am here because when I go home I am on my own! I love the quilting community you have out here and would love to see it in Ireland. |

As a group of quilters based in Sligo, we often order fabric from the US and even with shipping and customs duty when charged, we can get fabric for just over half of what our LQS charges. |
