JCPenney 6501
 

After hours of searching for any manual for this JCPenney 6501 sewing machine, along with trying to no avail to determine its manufacturer, I am hoping someone may be able to lead me to a manual for it. The usual manual sites do not have it, so I am looking for other places or options. I have looked at Brother and other manufacturer’s machines for a similar machine, but I have not seen any twins, identical nor fraternal, so far. I have even had sewing machine collectors looking for me. Any ideas? Anyone have this unpopular model with a manual?

Hello everyone. I posted that message in the wrong thread, but I did want to introduce myself on this thread. I finally joined this site after a long time of admiring the abundance of knowledge here.

I have been an intermittent sewist for many years. In the past couple of years, I have been getting more involved with sewing machines. I now have several sewing machines and am trying to learn more about them. They range from about 30 to about 50 years old. They are all mechanical, but my favorites have electronic elements. I am glad to be here and happy to see other newcomers.
