Learning again

About a lifetime ago I was a quilter. It is time to try again. I have several tops done and need to learn to put back and batting on. Any suggestions where Imay start? So glad this is available!

Welcome from Ontario, Canada. If you've got the tops done you are well on your way. Do you intend to learn machine quilting or just tie them? Do you want to hand quilt them? You can also send them out to a professional machine quilter. Lots to think about but there are great resources available once you decide. Good luck.

Hi, welcome from Lebanon Oregon. If there is a local quilt shop where you live there is usually help with instruction on all aspects of quilting. A local quilt guild to get hands on advice is also a good way to find help!!

Welcome from Washington! There are lots of easy patterns available on the net, to give you a great start. How about a jelly roll quilt-? It has lots of easy straight seams~~ just a thought!

Welcome. Glad to hear you are picking up the world's best hobby again. I agree that taking a class at a local quilt shop or finding a guild that has classes would be a good way to start. Seeing in person is the most fun and you'll make new friends as well.
