I so want to make a applique quilt for my only granddaughter who just turned 4 today as a matter of fact.
Don't think she would like sunbonnets although I love them.
Does anyone have some really cool ideas.
She is a girly girly but at times can be tough like her big brother.
She like pink, purples.
Would appreciate any and all ideas. Thanks fellow quilters.

Basket quilts are so pretty for little girls. The baskets are pieced but you could applique flowers in the baskets.

I am so happy to meet you! Welcome from Colorado. I have a friend on the board that does beautiful children applique. She uses patterns from coloring books. They are inexpensive and some have large, simple pattens in them that children love.

Welcome from western New York state! How about a pink and purple or light and dark purple flannel rag quilt, or is that too 'casual'?
