long time sewer, first time poster
 

Hi, new friends!

My name is Jeni and I am new to the board so I wanted to say hello :)

I am 23 years old and have been sewing since I was 7. The first thing I ever sewed was pillows, by hand, with a purple Looney Tunes fabric! I've been sewing ever since. Right now I have some projects lined up:

* t-shirt quilt from college
* frog queen sized quilt top
* various wedding-related crafts
* refashioning old pairs of shorts to re-wear

I finished my first twin sized quilt in the summer of 2007, hand tied quilting. I'll see if I can dig up pictures of some of my past projects to share!

I love reading historical fiction/fantasy novels, going out for rides with my fiance on his old '84 Honda Sabre, baking/cooking, and sewing!

Right now I sew with two machines. At my parent's house we have a Kenmore and at my house, I have an old Singer Slant Needle 604 that we're currently working on greasing up and getting ready to rumble! Pictures to come.
