Looking for advice

Hello, we are new to quilting and are in the market for a long arm quilter for our home. Just don’t know what is the best for a budget. We currently have a Pfaff 18.8 that was given to us by my Grandmother, but no longer works. Any recommendations for a replacement would be greatly appreciated.
Looking to keep the price around $7,000.

My first question would be, why doesn't the Pfaff 18.8 work? Can it be fixed? Is it an all metal machine? The reason I ask these questions is because all Long Arms will get finicky from time to time and will need repair or adjustment. Most people don't recognize this and throw out machines that only need a few hundred in parts and repairs and they have literally a brand new machine again.

edited to add: I don't really have any recommendations for you. My quilter is a very used 1997 Nolting that was pre-owned and purchased from a quilt shop that has done thousands of quilts on it. It's very manual and I am not a good quilter at all. I really need one of those automated machines but can't afford it.

Unfortunately we recently moved and the movers broke a piece that is not available any longer according to our closet Pfaff dealer. So with that we are looking to replace since the moving company has reimbursed us.
