I received a quilt from my daughter and we don't know the pattern. It is made up of 5" squares with only 3 pieces per square. There is a 2" square at the corner and then 2 other pieces shaped like a rectangle but with one corner cut off. It looks like one is looking at a corner of a room from the top of the room. Hard to describe. Wish I could draw it for you.

Does anyone know what it might be? Can I attach a picture of the block?

Thanks so much.

Sounds like a version of attic windows to me.

Here is a picture of one of the blocks. All the blocks in the quilt face the same direction.

I bet you're right. Although, that's a pretty small window. ;-)

To me it looks like it could possibly be a tumbling block. Welcome, so glad you joined us.
