Hi,

I'm Sue S. I am desperate to find a piece for my old but very reliable Viking. Hope someone out there can help me.

Hi Sue-welcome to the Board from Southern California-sorry don't have a Viking, but no doubt someone here will or steer you in the right direction. A Very helpful bunch here!

Have a Viking...and I think you said you were looking for a walking foot in your other posting...I commented there...go to Husq Viking website...contact your nearest dealer...

Sunflower Girl 08-17-2011 05:24 PM

You might try ebay. I've been able to find different feet for featherweight that way. Also battery replacement for outdated cordless drill, etc. Just a thought.

check with viking dealers for an old walking ft...they should have one in stock...if not, able to order it.

Hi and welcome from CT. Have 2 Vikings, but am not sure what you are looking for?

H R Peoples 08-18-2011 04:35 AM

You might not need a Viking specific part. Just need to know if it is a low shank or high shank and get the right generic part. Just a thought.

Welcome from Michigan again.:)

What model Viking do you have? I have two old Vikings, a model 21 and a 21A. They are both low shank machines and take standard low shank feet. I purchased a generic low shank walking foot and it works fine on my machines. There is a Yahoo! group for vintage Viking owners where you can get lots of information on these wonderful machines as well. This is where I go whenever I have a question or need assistance. I love my little green machines :)

I don't know where your from, but I have a man that fixes all my old machines. I bought an old Viking from an antique mall for 10 dollars and he fixed it for me for 140.00. I got a manual from the internet for 10.00 plus shipping. I use it as a stand by for my new Husqvarna's. he lives in Chagrin Falls OH.
