I just found this site & have spent way too many hours on it. I have learned all sorts of wonderful things, though. I have been quilting for about 4 years. We currently live in Jordan, where I am part of a quilters group. I learned quilting here - one of the many wonderful things that happened because of our move. We will return to the USA, Indianapolis, this Spring. I hope to continue quilting. One thing, it will be so much easier to get fabrics & do-dads in the USA.

OOPS!! I didn't mean to post such a large photo!! I thought it was going to be the little photo that went below my name. (That cat, by the way, is Patches, who we took in from the streets. Very lucky cat.) Anyway, silly me! I had already posted a photo. The flower photo, by the way, is of one of the lovely wild flowers in Jordan at this time of year.
I do my quilting by machine. Mostly for wall hangings, but am currently quilting two lap quilts. Mercy!! hard to maneuver. All of us bought inexpensive Singers here, as the wattage is different. I have seen some of the super-duper machines back home. It will take some time to figure what works best for me. |

Welcome from Montana. I like that you posted a big picture of you furry quilt inspector. I agree with the hours of time on here. I probably could have made several quilts in the time I spend here. But that certainly doesn't stop me from returning -- often :)
