Just got the Ken Lund frame and after my friends husband helped getting it set up, it looks like I will have something that will work for me since I didn't have a lot of $$$. Like the Lund frame versus the Flynn frame because the Lund frame moves the machine and you can sit down to quilt. The Flynn frame is based on moving the frame and quilt versus just moving the machine. I will post more info on the actual quilting experience after I do some practice projects.

Good to hear you like the Ken Lund frame. How did you make the modification on hooking up the rails so you can easily take it down when needed? This is set up in my guest bedroom and I would like to be able to take mine down and put it away in a closet when I have folks stay over.

Instead of using L brackets as he recommended, I used the combination 1/4 " Screw/bolt and a large wing nut. Just put the screw end into the track, then the bolt thru a hole I drilled. Then I used a washer and a large wing nut to bolt it all together. Quick, fast and easy!
I also use a bi-fold 10' table that folds in half for easy storing. The table cost me $80 on line so it was a bargain. I have been pretty happy with this set up. I plan on moving my sewing room to a larger room and should be able to keep it up permanently, hopefully anyway!

With the bi fold table does that make a problem when you cross the gap?
