I have been sewing for many years I began quilting when I came to visit my daughter in the U.S 1999. I fell in love with the American patch work quilters because in South Africa I did English quilting. We did not cut up a piece of fabric and sew it back togather ha ha. My daughter and I have done many projects together from pincushions to quilts.We started a new trend between mother and daughter, let me explain, we each intrduce a challenge to each other and we compleate the project.I stumbled across this website and am pleased to see more quilters of America. I now live in OH with my daughter.Keep up the good work quilters.
