Welcome from sunny Nevada, although I was living in northern Wisconsin before moving here, so I sympathize with all your snow. I don't miss it a bit! LOL!

This is a great place to pick up inspiration, support and specific answers to questions you may have. Things have probably changed a bit since you were last quilting. They're changing now, and I've only been doing it for about 3 years! Before that, I was a seamstress, so sewing isn't new to me. However, I also took a long break from any kind of sewing while pursuing my Nursing career. I am still learning all of the new techniques, if that's possible. Anyway, thank you for joining, and I'm sure you'll enjoy your time on this board.

Welcome to QB, from ex-Minnesotans living in western Nevada. Our youngest son was born at the hospital in Chisago City, 37 years ago. :)

Ha.....I love all the warm welcome wishes from around the world. I loved reading all the stories and see where everyone is from. From QKO....we actually live in Chisago City, but the hospital your son was born...is now a Fairview Clinic. I loved visiting the tall trees in Northern California, touring Glasgow, Scotland with my daughters last summer, and Wisconsin is our home away from home.
