Welcome to Kansas- the Junction City area has has really grown the last few years thanks to Ft. Riley's expansion. You will be close to Manhattan and KSU and also fairly close to Salina. There is a great quilt shop in Salina called the Quilting Bee! I am in western KS so it is a 2 hour drive for me but well worth it! The Flint Hills are gorgeous.
