Hi, I am a "learning" quilter. My grandmother and my mother both were quilters from way back in the mountains of Tennesse. I hope to learn how to use this site because it seems like a nice place to be.

Welcome from northern Minnesota. You're so lucky to live near Paducah. I've visited the quilting museum there maybe 3 or 4 times in last 10 years, whenever we're travelling through the area and our timing is right.

Hello & Welcome to the Quilting Board,
from WA!! :D I like your screen name. I have a younger brother who's name is Rex & we always called him Rexie!! Your name made me smile today!! :D :D :D :D :D :D |
You know, I rarely go to Paducah except when I have to. I can't afford a lot of Hancock's fabric so I depend on Wal-mart, but now Wal-mart is quitting handling fabric, So I have been buying some on ebay. That can also get expensive but the fabric I am needing for a project ....well, you can't find it at Wal-mart.
