Hello! I've been reading for awhile, but just decided to join in. My name is Maryellen and I've been quilting for about 12 years. Still need to learn how to machine quilt, but when the time comes, I've got lots of tops to practice on. I just completed two log cabin tops, one in black & white & red, and one in bright colors (lime green, yellow, orange, etc.).

Thank you all for your warm welcome and comments about the quilts. The bright log cabin will be for my nephew's brand-new daughter's 1st birthday, in exactly one year! I'm working on another black/white log cabin right now, with the "logs" that were already cut and sitting out. Plus, it saved me from having to put them away!
