Welcome, yellowrose of San Antone from the Tall Pines of rural Walker County, Texas. Glad you're here.

If you like a bow tie quilt with the 3D center, try this one: http://www.quilt-lovers-guide.com/bo...ilt-block.html

The artist shows you step-by-pictured-step how easy it is to do this special block. Enjoy!

Hi, welcome from Arizona.

thank you for the patern and the great easy instructions! Now all I need is a pattern for neckties. I have 78 from my uncle who passed away from brain cancer. I would like to find a easy pattern to make the quilt for my aunt. I hope at the rate I'm going it won't take forever!!

Yellowrose, neckties are very long and would make good strips for a log cabin. Also, last year, I saw a lot of fabrics at the local quilt store that would pass as neckties. If you can combine what you have with just a few pieces from the quilt store, you could do quite a quilt with 78 neckties to get you started!
