On another train of thought, I just planted lupine for the first time, and it is blooming right now. Gorgeous! Mine is pink, and I'm looking for blue or purple for next year. I'm not sure if it will come back after a Minnesota winter or not, but my fingers are crossed. My guess is your garden is filled with lupine. I love the color it adds to my garden.
