New to the board
 
Hi, I'm Karen and I joined a few days ago. I have been quilting (on and off) for about 25 years.

When I joined I tried to upload some pictures and was told I wasn't allowed. Are there different levels or something?

Welcome from Michigan. Can't help you with your picture problem as I don't know how to put up pictures. :)

Welcome from Ontario, Canada. If pictures are borrowed from another site then they can't be posted. You can do a link to the original site though. You also cannot post pictures that have your blog address watermarked on them. You can add your blog address in the signature line of your profile. Read the QB rules and see if they help.
Pictures do need to be a certain size to post. I can post directly from pictures taken with my iPad with no problems.

That's what I tried to do, upload pix of my sewing room from my iPad. Maybe they were too big? I'll try again in a bit.

Thanks for for all the welcomes. Can't tell you how many boards I've joined and then there's NO activity.
