Hi--I'm new to quilting officially but I've made many quilts, except I tend to make them into comforters more than quilts. I'd like to refine my quilting skills and this seems just the place to find the right information. I'm a potter, hence my user name....potwoman

That's the very quilt! I love it, and the colors as well. What is the name of this blue blocks but not tumbling blocks quilt? So elegant

I make pots. I make cups and bowls, but I also do ( and this is my favorite thing) large vessels with the 3 or 4 inch area just below the rim cut out into shapes of animals or flora...like I make an elephant bowl, and it has the silhouette of elephants walking around the rim, and some palm trees and so forth. I cut out the negative space, which is the important part...it really does remind me of quilting because what fabrics you put on, and where, allows you to see the pattern of the quilt. Go see my website. Don't mean to advertise!!!!Thanks for asking. I do garden, as well.

I love seeing that little boy on the quilt. So sweet. My website is DancingDragonPottery.net....there are 2 galleries there, with photos of pottery.
The address is wrong. I have been very remiss in not updating the address.
I'll try to get that done this week end! Thanks for looking.

If you're talking about the table topper in my avatar, it is called Center Stage put out by Pieced Tree Patterns. It's a little laminated card, around 3 1/2" X 5 1/2". It has the picture on one side and the directions on the other side. Mostly simple stuff like table runners. I think they're around $3.50 each.
