Quiltingboard Forums - New from Central Oregon

I am new to this forum this week and already addicted to reading the questions and answers. I started quilting at age 62 when I retired. I sewed for Linus Project for over 3 years, making over 150 baby quilts. I have sold my quilts for years mostly by word of mouth. Just sold a bargello to my chiropractor for $150. One quilt won 2nd place in show at Pacific Fabrics and lays up in my closet.
All my family is tired of quilts and dont want anymore. I have taught my 2 granddaughters to quilt, one at age 9 one age 25. Being retired gives me lots of free time but usually my back goes out so I limit the sewing time.
I am enjoying this site much more than facebook!
