Hi! I live in beautiful southern Maine about .8 miles from the ocean. I've been quilting for a lot of years, but haven't progressed as far as I would like. I think I'm too much a perfectionist and tend to get stuck on a piece for a very long time.

I belong to two guilds and sew charity quilts for Wrap A Smile, which is a charity that send quilts over seas for those children having Rhinoplasty.

Ohh! where at in Maine? we took our honeymoon in the Portland area at a place called Inn by the Sea in Cape Elizabeth. It was gorgeous there. Portland Head Lighthouse was my favorite!

Hi Patty - Welcome to the group! I was in Maine this past fall - Portland and Bar Harbor (cruise). It was beautiful! Have always wanted to get to the NE coast! This really is a pretty fun group - lots of pages to check out and lots of very nice folk here. If you are having a problem with a particular thing, looking for something whatever - you can post and get help. We always ask folk to post the items they are doing or have finished. We llove to see what others have going. :wink:

Hi Patty! Welcome to the board. I'm jealous of you being in Maine. I visited there every summer as a kid...I had family in Kittery and York Beach. Its my favorite place in the world..Obsessed by the Nubble Light House. We are glad you found us!
