I have just started quilting and a friend of mine that has quilted for years loaned me the Maggie Malone book and I have fould a block that i would like to quilt in the future, but I have searched and I can not find pattern or instructions. Please help. It is called Gold Nuggets.

Yes, it is #1523. My friend and I have decided it is similar to Spool only the center block is bigger and the outside pieces are thinner.
