Hi I have been sewing since I was 5 or 6 and have taught grandaughter at five to sew her own quilt. We sew for St Jude, cancer Relay for Life and friends when seriously ill.. also many friends. my current goal is to make a quilt for ME,,Have never had the time before..I am a disabled RN..really miss the job and people

Hi Carol, I'm Carol too. I live in Lexington,KY and I welcome you to the board.It really is a fun group of quilters on here. I have two granddaughters, 21 and 8. I failed at getting either of them to sew, even though I made all their clothes for a long time. My daughter grew up watching me sew, and she doesn"t sew either and has no desire to learn. I envy you a little one to sew with!
