I need some human help, I have enough feline help at the time. Bootsie, Gracie and Butterball are currently helping me type. I have been quilting since the 1980's and have not quilted in a number of years. I would like to do a monochromatic quilt that is not too difficult. Not too difficult meaning no diamonds. My son is eight but still requires a lot of time. I need something to quilt while waiting at swim lessons, after school etc. Does anyone have a good suggestion for a quilt pattern.

An applique project is a good take-a-long. Also grandmother's flower garden with the hexagons or yo-yo's. If you are really ambitious try cathedral windows. I'm sure you'll get lots of other ideas too.

Hello and Welcome to the board :D:D:D
Check out quilters cache, there are many blocks there that would work with a monochromatic scheme :D:D:D |
here is one..i think i would like to do something like that, only in a spring time color.

Thanks for the help. Last night I was looking at a Grandmothers flower garden quilt my Grandmother had given me and thinking "That would make a nice monochromatic quilt".
